The Channel Islands National Park is just one of the reasons that I'm grateful on a daily basis that I live in Southern California. They clean them every day and they always smelled fresh, there was always toilet paper and hand sanitizer. The pit toilet bathrooms were the nicest I've ever seen anywhere. The environment was very peaceful and there were several hiking options leaving right from the campsite. After people had left campsites the foxes and cruise would be all over it including up on top the picnic tables. After I chased him out and zipped the tent up, he went back multiple times trying to re-enter the tent. I found a fox inside someone else's tent eating his way through their gear to get to the food they had inside their pack. Don't ever turn your back on the foxes or leave your food locker open, as they are very quick to snatch things. The walk from the pier is about a half mile we saw people bringing coolers and other heavy gear, but we were glad we kept ours to an amount that can be easily carried. The campsites that had scrub bushes were able to get some shelter, however campsite number 13 and 12 had none. Our first night was very very windy and despite being located in a grove of eucalyptus trees they did not provide any protection to the wind. Now, William enjoys playing Super Mario Maker 2 on the Switch with his daughter and finding time to sneak in the newest From Software game when possible. William’s first console was the NES, but when he was eight, it was The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on Game Boy that fully cemented his interest in the format. All the while, William’s passion for games remained. Upon graduating from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, William entered the realm of fine arts administration, assisting curators, artists, and fine art professionals with the realization of contemporary art exhibitions.
